Ace fired at WCC during Toro Two-Lady Tournament
The Windom Country Club hosted the Toro Two-Lady Tournament Tuesday afternoon. For the second straight tournament, the course saw a hole-in-one fired during the event.
Colleen O'Leary of Springfield aced the par-three, 105-yard seventh hole at WCC, using a nine-wood.
O'Leary and her playing partner, Shelley Frantz, captured first place in the first flight of the tournament, shooting a 72. Second place went to Emily Masters and Lisa Hoffman with a 76, winning a tiebreaker over Mary Hogan and Linda Dawson.
The team of Brandi Rossow and Mandy Lund won the second flight with an 86. Shirley Carter and Doris Elness took second with a 92. Deb Mattson and Laurie Behrends placed third with a 94.
Closest to the pin winners were O'Leary with her ace on Hole 7 and Mary Hogan on Hole 4.
