2/7/2018 3:13:00 PM 'Guys and Dolls' ready for four-show run
Opening night is Thursday for the Windom Area High School winter play "Guys and Dolls."
The popular 1950s Broadway musical, which was revived in the mid-1970s, comes to the WAMHS Lecture Hall Theater stage for the second time, featuring a cast of 31 actors and a crew of four. The show was last staged by WAHS students for the 2005 fall musical.
The production is directed by Rachel Axford with assistance from Joni Fischenich.
Four performances of the hit musical are planned over the weekend, beginning with Thursday night's opening performance at 7 p.m. Good seats are still available for that show as well as evening performances on Friday and Saturday and for Saturday afternoon's matinee, which begins at 2 p.m.
Tickets are $8 each and available in the Windom Area Middle High School office. All tickets are reserved seating. Any remaining tickets also will be available at the door.
