'Surf's Up' for Windom coronation Thursday night

The Windom Area Student Council is thinking tropical for its 2017 homecoming coronation Thursday night.

"Surf's Up for Windom Area Schools' Hawaiian Homecoming" is the theme of the coronation that will take place in the Gold Gym beginning at 7 p.m.

Admission is $1 per person or free with the purchase of a homecoming button. Buttons will be available at Windom activities throughout the week.

This year's queen candidates are Jordyn Alm, Londyn Espenson, Jolyssa Higley-Purrington, Jaqueline Perez and Emily Steen.

King candidates are Dylan Colbert, Sam Diemer, Kaden Elder, Luke Gilbertson, Trevor Hall and Brent Reisdorfer.
